LALITHA

Lalitha is the entity of beauty as cosmic ordering principle — beauty understood as the structure that makes the universe coherent, not as the surface that makes a person admired. Her function is to seat the practitioner inside the register where her presence itself becomes ordering — the room is calmer because she has walked in, the work is cleaner because she is leading it, the field is more coherent because she is anchoring it.

Lalitha is the central deity of the Sri Vidya corridor — one of the most refined of the tantric streams. The lineage honours her as the entity at whose altar Devi Gold and the Folk Floral rose-current are read. Her beauty is operative; her beauty is sovereign.

Lalitha's altar is opened on Friday at sunrise. The practitioner sits without ornament. The altar puts the order back into her field. She walks out wearing nothing she did not already have, and the room recognises her differently.
